William and Harry tell Kate: 'We haven't talked enough about losing mother'

25 April, 2017, 07:24 | Author: Jeff Stephens

The video, filmed at Kensington Palace earlier this week, is part of the Heads Together campaign, which aims to end the stigma around mental health.

Now the royal brothers are speaking out about their own struggles, especially after the death of their mother, Diana, when they were young.

This revelation came when the 35-year-old spoke to the founders of an app called Mush during a visit to a London high school with her husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law, Prince Harry, on Thursday. "What's the point of bringing up something that's only gonna make you sad?' It ain't gonna change it, it ain't gonna bring her back", Harry said.

What do you think about the young royals?

She said, 'He's not here to share this happiness and that's when we really miss him, and we're going to miss him today because we will think even more about him. "I just didn't know what was wrong with me", he said.

"You have to prioritize your mental health", stressed Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. "Someone has to take the lead and be courageous enough to force that conversation".

In a newly released video, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Catherine, sit down at a picnic table with Prince Harry to discuss candidly why they have made mental health the focus of their charitable work.

A video shared by the British Royal Family this morning is going viral for reiterating an important message about mental health: That simply talking about it - openly, and without shame or fear of being judged - can in many ways be the most crucial step toward getting better.

Organisers said a total of 40,382 people collected their race packs on Saturday, meaning the 37th event is poised to outstrip last year's record of 39,140 competitors.

Harry was the first guest on a 10-episode podcast, "Mad World", that will explore mental illness through the eyes of prominent people. Oh, and they totally showed us all that they'd be ace radio presenters when they stayed on to help Greg James announce the Official Chart - yes, that did include Prince William saying the name 'Kendrick Lamar.' Never thought we'd see the day! With a little bit of experience, you want to help as much as you can and try to give them the strength to talk.
