Formula E is increasingly of interest to major manufacturers, with Formula One world champions Mercedes and Le Mans 24 Hours winners Porsche due to enter season six in 2019/20. It's a decision made partly in response to the United Kingdom government's decision to ban the sale of all new petrol and diesel cars from 2040. But we have to admit that I-Pace race auto looks pretty dang cool.

Places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and drivers will require an worldwide racing licence.

Alejandro Agag, Founder and CEO of Formula E, said: "Jaguar has been a welcome addition to Formula E and a fantastic advocate for electric street racing".
