On Monday, heavy police bandobast was deployed outside the Kandivli headquarter of Ryan International School and a Haryana police department team reportedly visited the office to collect details.

The Gurgaon Police claimed to have cracked the case of the brutal murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman inside the premises of Ryan International School in Gurugram within 24 hours and have arrested a bus conductor as the accused in the crime. It seems that fearing the arrest, chairperson Ryan Pinto is seeking the anticipatory bail. In their bail plea, they stated the management can not be held responsible as they were victims "unfortunate circumstances". "People are telling each other not to send their children to school as it would be unsafe for them to move out of home because of the tension lingering in the city after the Haryana incident", said Prasad Vishwanathan, parent of Ryan and ex-member of Parents-Teachers association (PTA). A special investigation team will reach Mumbai to question school CEO Pinto and director Albert Pinto, they said.

Thakur has knocked the door of the Supreme Court seeking CBI investigation into the matter.

Pleading for an adjournment, Additional Public Prosecutor Aruna S.K. Pai said that the government had received the anticipatory transit bail application papers only on Tuesday morning.

Earlier, seven persons were detained for questioning, including Class IV staff like the sweeper, gardener, bus driver and conductor, the police said.
