Jon Jones "B" Sample Tests Positive For Turinabol

The backup sample of UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones' failed drug test from UFC 214 in Anaheim, Calif., was confirmed positive for a banned substance, a spokesperson for the United States Anti-Doping Agency said Tuesday.

ESPN initially reported the news on Tuesday. Just before their previously scheduled rematch at UFC 200 past year, Jones failed a pre-fight drug test as well, however, this was caught before the fight took place and he was removed from the card. Jones (23-1) tested positive for banned substances clomiphene and Letrozol ahead of UFC 200 in July 2016 and was pulled from the card days before.
