Per a report from THR, James Cameron - director of the first two Terminator films and producer on Miller's upcoming installment - has said sHamilton will return as Sarah Connor, alongside Schwarzenegger in a story that will serve as a direct sequel to Judgment Day. Of course, Paramount and Skydance tried to launch a new Terminator trilogy with Terminator: Genisys, but this is the first time Cameron has been directly involved in a new Terminator movie since Judgment Day, so this is a big deal.

Hamilton starred in the original 1984 movie and the 1991 sequel as Sarah Connor, the Terminator's target and future mother of John Connor, the leader of the Resistance. Now, they can forget about that as Linda Hamilton is back with Sarah Connor healthy and ready to kick more butt.

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Hamilton is returning to the world of Terminator 25 years after saying goodbye. He will be producing alongside Skydance.

The series is shaping up nicely, and it will be interesting to see how the story comes together if it is based 30 years after the events of Terminator part 2.

Israeli Patriot Missile Shoots Down Iranian-made Drone Over Golan Heights
The IDF will act severely and attack against any such actions, said Manelis, adding: "We will respond to every such attempt". Israel has largely stayed out of the fighting in Syria. "There is no other army with preparedness like this", he continued.

There's now a writers room in place that includes David Goyer, Dark Angel co-creator Charles Eglee, and Josh Friedman, who served as the showrunner on The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

The film doesn't have a title yet, but is meant to kick off a new trilogy.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was previously revealed to be returning as well.

While James Cameron is the one who dropped the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be playing the guy who inspires the T-800 killer cyborg, the rest of the story is being kept completely under wraps.
